Today I started treatments with the Lumenis One at Aesthetica in Brandon, FL. Mary Ann is a trainer for Lumenis and uses the same protocol as Dr. Soldo. She works with Dr. Ira Siegman. They are both very knowledgeable, professional and thorough about rosacea and available treatments.

At a previous appt for a test patch they took Visia photos to identify pore size, skin texture, UV spots, wrinkles and bacteria.

If anyone has any questions please feel free to email me or give them a call.

Here’s their website: http://www.aestheticaonline.com/index.html

Please let us know how it goes. How many ipl treatments are you doing?

I'm going to start with a minimum of four.

Just a few questions... why and who decided four? Also, Is the person giving the treatment very informed about rosacea and giving ipl therapy?

Hello Guest - Mary Ann thinks I need 8 to reach the point of only needing maintenance treatments so that's why I said I'm going to have a minimum of 4. I had a very good result with just one so I'm hoping I won't need that many.

As I mentioned previously, Mary Ann is a trainer for Lumenis. If this is the machine you want to be treated with then you would probably be making a good decision in choosing her. I have a lot of experience with IPL docs - she knows her machine and is very thorough.

Can I ask the cost of each treatment?
