i'm not sure what these are called or if they're related to any other conditions i may have, but they are small (about 1-2mm), hard bumps just under the skin on my abdomen. they appear to be dark, like a rock or mineral deposit and feel mobile.

any ideas what they might be?

thanks.

Do you moisturise your stomach, it could just be some blocked pores or aggravetion from the cream.

nope, no moisturizer.

it doesn't feel like a blocked pore, though. it just feels like a little rock under the skin.

I have something similar (maybe) on my leg. A small hard red lump that has been there for a few years. I would ask your doctor what they are.

it's hard to tell, but this sounds similar: http://www.thedoctorslounge.net/dermatology/forums/backup/topic-2753.html

i've never taken one out of my stomach, but i did manage to squeeze something out of my arm once (although that may not have been the same thing). it was hard, like a rock. i figured it was some sort of mineral accumulation.

i asked my derm before, and he didn't know what they were called, but he did say they were harmless.

I think mine is more like alittle hard cyst.

I have one of these around my abdomen. I have had it checked out by a doctor. It is just a fat deposit under the skin. They are totally harmless, assuming we have the same thing.
