well about 3 years ago i went to a derm and he said i have Rosacea. i think he was wrong because 3 years ago my face was scaly with yellowish, whitish dry patches. anyways he gave me medicine for a bit and it cleared up the yellowish dry patches and whitish ones. even my friends noticed the yellowish dry patches are not there any more.

so now im 21 and 4 years has passed. do you guys think i have Rosacea? i think i have SD more than Ros. since i have dandruff and my eyelashes fall out easily and always go on my cheeks! grr. but on the other hand the medicine the derm precrisbed me helped it clear up. so im confused heres some pic.

Hi skaistendy

It's a bit hard to tell from the pics. Most people flush or go red in the face a little when they are drinking alcohol. Maybe you could take a pic outside in natural light, so that it is easier to tell.

Really though, if you have read through lots of info on Rosacea and believe that you have it, then thre are many options to consider to control the beast. If you haven't already been diagnosed by a Dermatologist or your local GP, you might want to ask the question.

There is heaps of info here and lots of helpful folk about.

Looking forward to seeing a natural light pic so that we might be able to offer our personal insights.

about 4 years ago, when i was 17-18 my derm said i did have Rosacea, but he really wasent too informative and i dont think he knew was he was talking about, i think i have SD along thoes lines because i had more of thoes symptoms then Rosacea,

Doh! I really should have read your first post more closely! Sorry, you did say that you had already been diagnosed, even if by a seemly unknowing doc.
