I just took some self-photos of myself, although it was late at night when I tend to be less red. Also the flash kinda washes out some of the redness. Notice the very red lips (must be a rosacea thing?) Probably the first pic is the closest to reality, the 2nd and 3rd got washed out more, but I wouldn't mind looking like that normally

I also just took another pic about 2 mins ago because I felt flushed after working out:

Sometimes I don't mind the redness, because for me, it's kinda all over and it looks like I've had some sun, which is of course what EVERYONE asks me. I just hate the part directly under my eyes - it looks like I've been sun tanning wearing some big aviator glasses :x

Hey, it is pretty mild if you have rosacea and you are sexy :)

To tell you the truth, I don't see any Rosacea and people thought my pictures didn't show signs of Rosacea.

Even other peoples pictures with very mild Rosacea is 10X more apparent then yours.

If I were you and had your level of possiable Rosacea, I would not be worried of the Rosacea.

I would goto many doctors and Derms to confirm I did have Rosacea.

If you do have Rosacea, I would be more worried that it might progress from pre-Rosacea to other sub-types. I think that then you'd be looking more at preventing your Pre-Rosacea from progressing to full blown Rosacea, then treating it as if you had full Rosacea.

 Aviator glasses! I can relate to that! When my face used to burn red hot, I still had these big white circles under my eyes that just looked so stupid!

Hey, you're a good looking bloke! Ever thought of doing some modelling?

I image the flash would have taken a lot of the redness out. Maybe try taking a photo outside in natural light without a flash. That's what I try to do to get a true representation of what's going on with my face for progress shots.

Does your face ever burn or is it just a constant redness thing? Even though the pics look pretty damned good, I can see some redness there being masked by the flash. Gawd, it's hard enough to put a pic up let alone allowing everyone to comment on it, huh! Ouch! Do you ever get p&p? What's your routine at the moment and do you think your routine is helping you right now?

Well the flash does wash out some of the redness, so it might not look that bad in the pics but i'm fairly sure I have it.

Redhotoz - I'll just start having to wear sunglasses all the time to hide the white circles 8)

As for the flushing and burning, exercise, heat and anxiety are by far my worst triggers. My neck and ears get the most red when i'm flushing/blushing and it really becomes uncomfortable. Fortunately, I rarely get any p&p's so I guess that would make me strictly a subtype 1. On the odd occassion, I'll use some tinto Zinco just on the cheek area and it sometimes helps to diffuse the redness and even skin tone. Still though, I'm gonna try getting an eye cream with concentrations of L-arginine to see if can actually help me flush on the under eye area. Anyone know of a good one to try?
